The peasant learned what many others never understand. The purse contained a lot of gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying on the road where the boulder had been. After lots of pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything to get the big stone of the way. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Then he hid and watched to See if anyone would remove the huge rock. Even until now, we still don't know how the beds moved! I will never forget my experience. We were thinking and discussing, but couldn’t figure out who did it. Finally we realized that none of us could have moved the beds. We argued for sometime thinking that one of us must have done it.
Mark said he didn’t do it, and I didn’t do it. When she turned on the lights, we saw that our beds were pushed together and the table had moved. The next morning, Mark’s mother brought us hot chocolate as usual.
One night, while we were sleeping, I could feel my bed moving.
It was really nice to be served and spoiled like that. Every morning, Mark’s mom brought us a cup of hot chocolate in bed after we woke up. I shared a room with Mark, and our beds were separated by a table. Luckily, he patiently helped and taught me, so I could catch up with him. In the afternoon, we learned to ride a horse. Then, we visited the chicken coop to see if they have laid any eggs. Every morning, we went to the goats’ pen ready to feed them with the fresh grass. We did a lot of enjoyable things together. Last summer holiday,I was staying with my best friend Mark in his farmhouse in the middle of the countryside.
